Mari is one of the most prestigious specialists in the field of labour law, who combines long-term personal experience of the managing of a large company with extensive specialist activities in the field of labour law. For more than 15 years, Mari was a member of the board at AS Kuusakoski (AS Eesti Metallieksport – EMEX), and handled the resolution of EMEX’s personal and legal matters. Since 2008, she has been working as a labour law adviser, and many large Estonian companies have been her clients.

In addition, Mari is an experienced lecturer on labour law at the Tartu Vocational Education Centre, as well as at training courses organised by the Tallinn Teachers’ House, Excellence Training and the Estonian Conference Centre. Mari is also the author of the commented version of the “Employment Contracts Act 2009” and the three-part guide book “Employment Contracts Act 2010 in practice”. Mari has also published several articles on labour law in trade periodicals.
