RASK advises the sale of AirPatrol to Swedish smart-energy solutions company Ngenic AB (publ).

RASK advised the owners of AirPatrol, the smart energy control systems company in selling the 100% shareholding of the company to Swedish enterprise Ngenic AB (publ). RASK´s attorney-at-law Annika Soom assisted the client in the preparation of the transaction documentation, advised the client in tax related matters and represented client’s interest during the negotiations.  

Airpatrol OÜ is headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, where all Airpatrol products are also developed and manufactured. Airpatrol was formed in 2011 by experienced contractors in the energy sector based on the need for standardized control of energy systems such as air source heat pumps, floor heating and air conditioning. Today, the company has strategic partners and partnerships with well-known brands such as Nibe, Panasonic, Toshiba and Daikin to name some. To date, more than 50,000 systems have been sold and exported to several countries all across the Europe.

Ngenic AB is a Swedish company, headquartered in Uppsala, creating a platform for the smart energy with a suite of digitalized services for consumers, property owners, and energy companies. Ngenic is currently working with over 70 energy companies as well as over 100 property owners and housing associations. Ngenic AB systems and products increase the cost-effectiveness of existing infrastructure in electricity and district heating networks.
