Tax

Tax law is one of RASK’s core practice areas, where experienced tax advisors deliver practical, solution-oriented advice and consistently achieve strong results in both advisory matters and tax disputes.

Field information

RASK’s tax advisory practice is built on deep expertise and a strong practical approach. Leading international legal directories have recognised RASK’s tax law team as one of the strongest in Estonia. The head of the practice, partner and tax advisor Villy Lopman, has been named among the country’s leading tax experts for several consecutive years.

Drawing on the practical, field-tested experience of its advisors, RASK aims to provide clients with clear answers and ready-to-implement solutions. Tax advisory at RASK is rooted in a profound understanding of tax law and extensive hands-on experience. For us, success is measured not solely by courtroom victories, but also by our ability to resolve matters efficiently before a dispute arises – for example, through effective negotiations with the tax authority.

RASK’s high level of expertise is further reflected in the trust placed in the firm not only by leading private companies but also by several of Estonia’s largest law firms. In addition to advising corporate clients, RASK has provided tax counsel to ministries of the Republic of Estonia, local municipalities (including the cities of Tallinn and Tartu), business associations and umbrella organisations (such as the Estonian Traders Association and the Estonian Autosport Union), as well as major events in the Baltic region, including Rally Estonia.
