RASK advises the acquisition of Lithuania's major telecom provider Cgates.

Case

RASK represented its client Com Holding OÜ in acquiring Cgates Group UAB shares from Starman AS. RASK led the negotiations and participated in drafting the documentation for the deal.

Com Holding OÜ purchased 24% of the total issued share capital of Cgates Group UAB from Starman AS. Along with its partner, Polaris Invest, the acquisition totalled 100% of the Cgates Group shares.

The Cgates Group is the second largest cable TV and internet services provider in Lithuania. The deal included several IT and IPR elements, which needed attention in the de-merger which was the result of the transaction. The transaction took place after Elisa Oyj had acquired the shares of Starman AS.
