RASK consults La Muu in acquisition of leading Finnish craft ice cream maker.

RASK consults ice cream maker La Muu in the acquisition of Finland’s leading craft ice cream producer Suomen Jäätelö. Using a swap transaction, La Muu acquired a 100% shareholding in Suomen Jäätelö, in return for which the current shareholders of Suomen Jäätelö will be issued a holding in La Muu. The combined sales volume of the two companies was approximately 1.7 million euros in 2019.
RASK assisted La Muu with deal structuring and drafting the necessary contracts and documents for the transaction. The agreement was the result of extensive negotiations. The transaction was planned in collaboration with the Funderbeam crowdfunding platform, which La Muu has previously used to run a successful fundraising campaign with the help of RASK, attracting 600,000 euros from investors.
La Muu AS is the first producer of organic ice cream in Estonia. The company was established in 2012, quickly growing into one of the most beloved ice cream brands in the country.
