RASK consulted the owners of the security services provider Skarabeus on the sale of the company to Viking Security AS, a subsidiary of the NASDAQ Tallinn-listed Tallinna Kaubamaja Group. Karl Erik Esko, RASK’s attorney-at-law, consulted the client on preparing the transaction documents and conducting negotiations with the buyer. The transaction will be finalised after clearance by the Competition Authority.

SKARABEUS Julgestusteenistus OÜ is an Estonian security company with offices in Tallinn, Tartu, Pärnu and central Estonia, providing manned guarding, patrol and technical surveillance services in all parts of the country. The company had a turnover of 3.1 million euros in 2022 and employs 168 people.

Viking Security AS is a subsidiary of Tallinna Kaubamaja Group. The company had a turnover of 15.1 million euros in 2022. Its activities include developing security solutions, designing, constructing and maintaining security systems, providing manned guarding and electronic security services, as well as offering cash-in-transit, fire safety and stocktaking services.
