Tarmo Peterson

Tarmo is founder and partner at law firm RASK and one of the most sought-after experts in Estonia in resolving legal issues related to disputes and insolvency. Tarmo often represents clients in complex litigation and has a wealth of experience in competition, state aid and public procurement.

Through his 13 years of experience, Tarmo has represented clients in large-scale litigation cases, many of which have established precedents in the field. Tarmo has advised clients in both civil and administrative matters, as well as intellectual property and financial crime. Tarmo also serves as an arbitrator with the the Court of Arbitration of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  

As a recognized expert in the field of insolvency, Tarmo cooperates on a daily basis with leading Estonian trustees of bankruptcy. He is also a member of the Estonian Chamber of Bailiffs and Trustees in Bankruptcy and the European insolvency expert group, INSOL Europe. 

Tarmo has participated in the preparation and validation of the legal analysis of various major investment projects in Estonia (e.g. Rail Baltic, Est-For biorefinery factory), with considerable knowledge of the legal problems and competition law risks involved in cooperation projects between Estonia and the European Union.

Tarmo is a elected member of the Ethics and Methodology and Insolvency Committee of the Estonian Bar Association.
