Tarmo Peterson in Ärileht: Business owners now have a better chance of dealing with payment difficulties

In light of amendments to the Reorganisation Act, which entered into force on 1 July, RASK partner Tarmo Peterson writes at length in Ärileht about the opportunities created by the state for businesses in financial difficulty: how to get out of insolvency and the options every entrepreneur should know about reorganisation for their own or a partner’s future.

“Today, there is no entrepreneur who is not looking towards autumn with great concern and uncertainty. Nobody knows for sure what will happen. Faith in forecasts is long gone: in such volatile circumstances they haven’t held true for a long time. The global crisis, skyrocketing inflation and declining consumption do not bode well: clear signs of an impending crisis. Solar power will somehow get us through the summer, but what about autumn? Fortunately, coping with potential insolvency will be much easier then, thanks to the completely overhauled Reorganisation Act that came into force in July,” writes Tarmo in the introduction to the article.
