RASK and the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry holding a foreign recruitment seminar

On 17 September, RASK Attorneys-At-Law, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Work in Estonia will hold a seminar on foreign recruitment aimed at companies starting to recruit employees from abroad.

The seminar will be delivered by RASK Attorney-at-Law Siret Saks, one of Estonia’s leading specialists on migration law, who has been involved in more than 200 cases dealing with migration law. Siret has represented a great number of large investors regarding applications for residence permits in Estonia, as well as numerous other entrepreneurs and highly qualified specialists who have moved to Estonia.

At the meeting on 17 September, Siret will give specific advice on successful foreign recruitment in practice on the basis of the official guidelines.

  • How to navigate between different types of residence permits, and when should each type be favoured?
  • An ABC guide to which applications must be submitted and in what order? The main problems and stumbling blocks, and how to avoid these? What changes have recently been made to the relevant legislation and what changes will take effect in the near future, and how these will impact the foreign recruitment process?
  • What should you consider when dealing with the Police and Border Guard Board?

The seminar will include several case studies, giving a clear overview of how foreign recruitment can be best arranged.

The seminar will be held on 17 September, from 3–5 pm at the Tallinn office of RASK Attorneys-At-Law, situated in the Rotermann Quarter.

Participation is free of charge, but participants have to sign up in advance on the website of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
