RASK announces 2 new partners

Active growth and new strategic goals requires more strength. And RASK found it from within. After 5 years since the last partner announcement RASK is promoting two of its own to partners. Three existing partners are joined by Villy Lopman, RASK’s head of Tax and Constitutional working groups and Timo Kullerkupp, head of Tech, Finance and Aviation.

Founding partner Ramon Rask comments: „The firm has grown substantially over its 8 years and reached the TOP 10 of Estonian law firms in terms of both, turnover and number of lawyers. Ambition has not reduced but grown over time. Nominating new partners is therefore an unavoidable step. It is also a very pleasant one as the new partners, Timo and Villy have grown from within the team and their DNA matches the one of founding partners and the whole team.“

„In addition to a common understanding of key values, it is also important that the new partners are top of their game in Estonia: Villy Lopman’s knowledge and experience in tax and administrative proceedings are of great value to the firm. Same goes for Timo and his role in heading the tech and aviation working groups in the firm as well as his experience in advising international transactions,“ adds founding partner Tarmo Peterson.

RASK Attorneys at Law is a full service law firm founded by Ramon Rask and Tarmo Peterson in 2012. which has seen constant rapid growth over its 8 years in business. The firm serves many leading Estonian and international companies of great reputation such as Eesti Energia, AirBaltic, Magnetic MRO, Cleveron, Ridango, Fiizy, Nordlin, BaltCap, Unimed Clinics, Lumi Capital, TF Bank et cetera.

In 2015 Märt Rask, former Chief Justice of the Estonian Supreme Court and Minister of Justice joined the firm as partner.

"Very proud. The trust given and responsibilities assumed for this great team of experts – both are a big honor,“ Timo Kullerkupp comments on the assumption of a new role in the firm. „The rapid organic growth of the firm around a stable and integrated team core, being in contrast with the chaos otherwise seen in the sector, is a key value creator both to the firm and its exceptional client list."

RASK competences are recognized by multiple international legal directories. The firms growth rates have been recognized by Äripäev, the Estonian business daily, in its 2019 list of gazelles.
